Is this juicer easy to use?
Absolutely! Step 1 - assemble it - takes under a minute. Step 2 - clamp it to a smooth surface using the power-lock base (make sure the grip is secure, though. See below) - takes under 3 seconds. Step 3 - put about 2-3 cm diameter of wheatgrass through the juicer mouth. Step 4. Crank the handle and you'll have juice in no time. Step 5. Disassemble and clean - can be done in under 2 minutes.

What's the difference between the Original Healthy Juicer and Mk3?
Basically, Mk3 is the latest version of the Healthy Juicer and comes with a longer handle, removable strainer, and stainless steel clamp. See here for more details.
Is this juicer easy to clean?
Yes! If I wash it immediately after juicing wheatgrass with it, I can disassemble and clean it under 2 minutes. It comes apart very easily and quickly and can be rinsed clean under running water. After rinsing, put all the parts in a container. Let the juicer air dry until you use it again the next day (if you have time, you can wipe dry it). Do note that if you do not wash it immediately, you will need to spend a bit more time scrubbing it because wheatgrass can stain so my recommendation is to wash it as soon as possible. Also, the power locking base should not be rinsed under water. I normally don't clean it because it doesn't get dirty. If it does, wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel.
Does the juicer come with any warranty?
Mk3 comes with a 3-year warranty while Original doesn't. The reason the Original juicer doesn't have any warranty is that it's not an electrical appliance and doesn't have a motor or other electrical parts that will break down. Furthermore, it's made of a durable, high-quality material. If you take care of the juicer well and do not use it for hard fruits, this juicer will be long-lasting. It may be comforting for you to know that we've not had any returns so far. Also, I'm a certified SquareTrade Member, which means I'm committed to resolving any customer disputes. Obviously, your statutory rights as a consumer under the relevant laws still apply.
What are the terms and conditions of the warranty for Mk3?
Mk3 has a 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in workmanship & materials while in normal household use from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, it will be repaired or have parts free of charge provided that: (i) the equipment is returned to the distributor at purchaser's expense; (ii) the equipment has been used by the purchaser for own use and not used for hire or commercial purposes; (iii) the equipment has not been handled carelessly or misused or otherwise than in accordance with any instruction provided in respect of its use; (iv) repairs have not been attempted other than by our staff or an authorised agent; (v) it does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage; (vi) it does not cover claims for cracks damaged by dropping the unit either accidental or otherwise. In no event shall our liability exceed the replacement or retail value of the goods purchased. This warranty does not confer rights other than those expressly set out above and is offered as extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
What if there's a breakage during shipment?
If there's a breakage during shipment, please email us as soon as you find out. The earlier we know about it, the earlier we can act. Typically, we will send out a replacement part at our cost within one working day and you don't have to send us the damaged part. You should also email us a digital photo of the damage as evidence.
Can the juicer be used for other fruits and vegetables?
Yes. It works best for wheatgrass but can be used for soft fruits and vegetables. PLEASE cut them into SMALL pieces or SMALL strips. Also, when you are juicing the wheatgrass pulp, which can be quite hard, feed the pulp in as a long, thin strip rather than as a big blob. This makes the pulp easier to juice. Please don't use the juicer on hard fruits and vege.
Why does the juicer power locking base give way?
The base requires a smooth surface to stick to. Textured surface may not grip as well. Try using the juicer on a smooth surface. On a smooth surface, the base should grip very tightly. With the Mk3, you can use the clamp for surfaces that are not flat nor smooth.
Is it normal to have juice leaking out of the end cap?
If there are lots of juice coming out, you may not have tightened the end cap sufficiently. Also check that the white washer has been inserted between the end cap and body of the juicer. It's normal to have a bit of juice leaking out, especially when you are juicing the pulp. But that's not a problem because you'll normally have a container near the end cap to catch the pulp, so the container can catch any juice leakage as well.
Sometimes, bits of wheatgrass fall into the juice. What can I do?
You can use a kitchen strainer to remove any bits before you drink it. The strainer's much easier to clean than the micro-mesh in some juicers. By the way, Mk3 comes with a removable strainer so it's more convenient.
I can't remove the juicer body from the power-lock base.
Most likely, the power-lock base has been engaged. When it's engaged it grips onto both the surface below and the juicer body above. You'll need to disengage by turning the knob on the power-lock base counter clockwise.
Is wheatgrass easy to grow?
Yes, it's very easy to grow. I've been growing my own wheatgrass at home now for some time. It takes a bit of time to get started but once you've started, the second tray onwards is very straightforward. Look at our wheatgrass resources page to get started.
Do you accept credit card payment?
Yes, we do through Paymate and Paypal. Paymate is a secure, accurate, and reliable Internet payment service, allowing you to pay with major credit cards. (See Paymate's Buyer Benefits). Paypal is similar to Paymate but offers instant payment processing (no waiting for payment to clear) and is best for those intending to pay in US$.
How long do payments take on Paymate?
From Paymate's help page: Direct debit transactions (payments from an Australian bank account) are processed through Paymate like an electronic cheque and are subject to a full 3-business day Australian bank clearing rules. Weekends are not business days and transactions after 3.00pm are processed on the next business day. So a transaction submitted to Paymate on a Thursday will appear as "paid" into the seller's bank account on the following Wednesday.
Do you keep any of my credit card and/or bank account details?
No, we don't. We do not process any of your payments directly. Processing is done either by Paymate, Paypal, or your bank.
What kind of personal information do you keep?
I live in Perth - can I save money by picking up the juicer?
Unfortunately, not at this point in time. As we ship in bulk, our shipment costs are fairly low so we can provide an everyday low price to all our customers regardless of where they live.
How long does shipment take?
After payment is received in our bank account, we will ship within 2-3 business days. We use couriers 90% of the time (view exception). For courier locations, shipment to capital cities and major regional centres is by next working day, with an extra working day to other areas. Non-courier shipment (see shipment details) will be via Australia Post Regular Parcel or Air Mail and will be dependent on their standard delivery times.
