DRINKING WHEATGRASS

According to Ann Wigmore (author of The Wheatgrass Book), wheatgrass is best  consumed in small quantities throughout the day. She recommended 60-120ml per day, on an empty or nearly empty stomach.

Ann also suggested slowly sipping small quantities of the juice to give your body an opportunity to get used to its taste and effect. You should start with 15ml to 30ml and work your way up. Taking 30ml to 60-ml drinks straight or mixed with other juicers and sipping the juice slowly will help prevent nausea or stomach upset.

I drink 30ml right after I wake up every morning and find that the energy boost is a great start to the day – especially Mondays!
